Simple, tasty, economical! Cooking carrot cutlets

Steamed carrot cutlets

Ingredients:

  • Fresh large carrots - 5 pieces
  • Flour - 150 gr
  • Corn starch - 30 gr
  • Egg - 1 piece (small)
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp
  • Sugar - a pinch

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the carrots, dry with a paper towel, peel, grate.
  2. Squeeze out excess liquid. Shake the egg and add to the carrots.
  3. Mix flour and starch, add to the mass and mix everything.
  4. Add salt and sugar. Mix thoroughly again and form cutlets from the mass.
  5. Place the carrot patties in a double boiler and cook for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with sour cream and herbs.

Carrot and cauliflower cutlets

You will need:

  • Carrots - 300 gr
  • Cauliflower - 500 gr
  • Flour - 70 gr
  • Oat flakes - 30 gr
  • Small egg at room temperature - 1 pc
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Butter

How to cook:

  1. Rinse the vegetables. Disassemble the cabbage into inflorescences, peel the carrots.
  2. Boil vegetables until half cooked. Let cool slightly.
  3. Mash the cabbage with a fork, and grate the carrots. Drain off excess liquid.
  4. Grind the flakes in a coffee grinder or simply pour them into a plastic bag and walk over it with a rolling pin two or three times, as if you are rolling out dough.
  5. Put all the remaining ingredients for the vegetables, except for the breadcrumbs.
  6. Stir the mixture and form cutlets from it. Roll each cutlet in breadcrumbs.
  7. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side in a frying pan preheated with butter.

Carrot cutlets in the oven

Required:

  • Carrots - 5 pieces of medium
  • Small egg - 1 pc.
  • Rice - half a cup
  • Salt, pepper - to taste
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare the carrots: rinse, peel and boil.
  2. Rinse the rice well and boil until tender with a couple of drops of vegetable oil.
  3. Grate the finished carrots and mix with rice, spices and an egg.
  4. Form small patties with your hands and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake the carrot cutlets in a preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes.
