Meatballs in the oven

Meatballs are round cutlets made from minced meat, but you can deviate from the rules and cook meatballs from twisted meat or minced meat. Here it is important to observe the shape of the bites, and the taste will depend on your imagination and skill.

I propose to cook meatballs in the oven, as this will reduce their calorie content.

Peel the onions, chop finely and fry in butter in a heavy-bottomed pan.

Add washed rice to the onion. Pour in water 2 times the volume of rice and cook until tender.

When the rice is ready, pour it into another bowl and cool.

If you have meat for the meatballs, you need to twist it into minced meat. Divide the minced meat into two parts. Fry one part until the liquid evaporates.

Mix cooked rice with sautéed and raw minced meat.

Beat in the eggs and squeeze the garlic through a press. Mix the minced meat well.

Roll the minced meat into balls the size of a chicken egg and press down, making a round meatball.

Bake the meatballs in the oven for 40 minutes on a greased baking sheet. After 20 minutes, turn over to the other side for a beautiful color. Remove the ready-made meatballs from the oven and cool.

Serve hot or cold meatballs with potatoes or vegetables.
