Zucchini can be combined with absolutely any type of minced meat: beef, pork, their mix, etc. If desired, the meat casserole can be enhanced with tomato and cheese flavors, and using your favorite seasonings in a new way will open up the zucchini in a completely different way.


Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchini;
  • about 400 g of any minced meat;
  • 4 medium potatoes;
  • two eggs;
  • two onions.
  • 100 - 150 g sour cream.
  • we will use garlic, salt, black pepper and your favorite spices to add flavor to the dish.

Preparation:

  1. For the convenience of further work, we will first clean all the vegetables. If you took young zucchini, it is not necessary to peel and seed them, because it contains the maximum amount of nutrients. If the vegetable is leathery enough, we should peel it, and only then proceed with further actions.
  1. We rub the zucchini on a coarse grater or cut into thin strips. Salt the resulting mass and mix it well. We put the vegetable aside for a while - it should let the juice flow.


  1. While the zucchini is settling, finely chop the onion - we will need it for dressing the minced meat.


  1. Heat the frying pan, add oil to it and fry the onion until golden brown and soft.


  1. While the onion is fried in a skillet, we prepare the sauce for the casserole. To do this, we squeeze sour cream on a garlic press, if it is not there, you can use a fine grater.


  1. We drive two eggs into the sour cream mass and mix everything well with a fork or whisk. Salt the filling, add black allspice and any seasonings or herbs to taste.


  1. During this time, the onions should be fried well: we spread the minced meat to it and cook everything together in a frying pan for about 12 minutes.


  1. During this time, you can prepare a form for the future casserole: grease the baking sheet with oil or cover with baking paper. Do not ignore the sides of the dishes: our casserole will be quite high.


  1. Cut the potatoes into very thin slices, less than 0.5 cm wide, and place the circles on a baking sheet.


  1. Lubricate the potato layer with casserole fill.


  1. We spread the fried meat on the filling and once again we pass the sauce.


  1. If the zucchini gave a lot of juice, they need to be squeezed out and only then spread over the meat and pouring.


  1. Smooth out a layer of zucchini and cover with the rest of the sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top of the casserole if desired.

How to cook:

  1. Peel the zucchini and potatoes.
