  • butter – 60 g.

Preparation

Place rice, previously washed twice with cold water, into boiling water. Cook it over fairly high heat, stirring constantly until the liquid has completely evaporated. Add the milk, heated almost to a hot state, with a pinch of salt and pour it into the pan where the rice was cooked and put it on the stove again, but only at a lower heat setting. When the porridge with milk begins to boil, add vanilla and regular sugar and cook for no more than seven minutes. Then turn it off, cover with a lid and we can even wrap the saucepan with a towel for a few minutes. Then we open our delicious porridge again and flavor it with a piece of good butter.

How to cook delicious milk rice porridge with pumpkin?

Ingredients:

  • round rice – 300 g;
  • water – 300 g;
  • peeled fresh pumpkin – 300 g;
  • milk – 550 ml;
  • vanillin – 1 packet;
  • granulated sugar – 6 tbsp. spoon;
  • ground cinnamon - a pinch;
  • butter – 70 g.

Preparation

As always, be sure to wash the amount of rice we need. Place it in a saucepan with a thick bottom and pour boiling water over it. Cook the rice over high heat until the grains have completely absorbed all the water.

We grate the whole pumpkin on a grater with the largest holes and put it in the already half-boiled rice. We fill all this with fresh milk with added vanilla, granulated sugar and a pinch of cinnamon for a special aroma. Cook the rice over very low heat for about 15-17 minutes, the main thing is to taste it so that the pumpkin is cooked.

Cover the pan with cooked porridge, which has a beautiful orange hue that children love, for 6-7 minutes. Then be sure to put a piece of butter in it and mix it well with the porridge.

How to cook milk rice porridge in a slow cooker?

Ingredients:

  • rice (long grain) – 1 tbsp.;
  • milk – 3 tbsp;
  • water – 1 tbsp.;
  • salt – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • granulated sugar – 4 tbsp. spoons;
  • vanilla sugar – 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • butter – 70 g;
  • dried fruits (light raisins, dark raisins) – 40-50 g each.

Preparation

Rinse long grain rice a couple of times with cold water. Pour boiling water over all dried fruits separately for 10 minutes, which is drained after the time has elapsed. Cut dried apricots and prunes into arbitrary cubes.

We take the bowl out of the multicooker and, in order to prevent the milk from running away later, generously grease its bottom and walls with half of the butter we need. Now pour the prepared rice into this bowl, which is then filled with milk and a diluted glass of water. Add salt, vanilla sugar, followed by regular sugar and all available dried fruits. Using a silicone or wooden spatula, stir all the ingredients in the milk, then add the remaining butter and cover everything with the multicooker lid. We define the mode “Milk porridge” or “Porridge with milk”, set the timer for 40 minutes and just wait for the delicious porridge to be prepared.

For 5-6 servings of medium viscosity porridge(you can take everything half as much)

  • Rice cereal - round, unparboiled - 1 cup 200g (I recommend taking Krasnodar rice)
  • Water - 2 glasses of 200 ml
  • 2-3 glasses of milk (to desired thickness)
  • Salt on the tip of a teaspoon
  • Sugar to taste

I always pre-soak rice grains in cold water for 0.5-1 hour. It swells and cooks faster. But this is not at all necessary...

Rice porridge with milk will give the whole family a boost of energy from the very morning. Moreover, a multicooker will help you prepare it with virtually no personal involvement. It is enough to load all the ingredients early in the morning and set the desired mode.

  • 1 multi-cup rice;
  • 1 tbsp. water;
  • 0.5 l milk;

  2. Boil 2 tbsp in a saucepan. drinking water and add rice to it.
  3. After the liquid boils again, reduce the heat and continue cooking for another 10 minutes, covering loosely with the lid.
  4. Boil the milk separately. As soon as almost all the water has boiled away, pour in the hot milk.
  5. Cook until tender, stirring occasionally over low heat. After 10–15 minutes, taste the grains; if they are soft, the dish is ready.
  6. Salt it and sugar it to your taste.

Liquid rice porridge

The process of cooking thick or thin milk rice porridge is practically the same. In the second case, you just need to add more liquid. But the easiest way is to follow the detailed recipe.

  • 1 tbsp. rice;
  • 2 tbsp. water;
  • 4 tbsp. milk;
  • salt, sugar and butter to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Before cooking, be sure to rinse the rice in 4-5 waters until the liquid becomes completely clear.
  2. Place the washed cereal in a saucepan, fill it with cold water and cook after boiling until almost done.
  3. Separately, boil the milk with a pinch of salt and pour it in when the rice becomes soft.
  4. Cook the milk porridge over medium heat until it reaches the desired consistency - about 25 minutes.
  5. Add sugar to taste and, when serving, butter.

With pumpkin

Rice milk porridge with pumpkin is a delicacy for real gourmets. The sunny color of the dish lifts the mood and gives warmth, which is why it is most often prepared in the cold season. In addition, the pumpkin itself certainly adds nutrition to the food, and its quantity can be varied as desired.

  • 250 g round rice;
  • 250 g pumpkin pulp;
  • 500 ml milk;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • 1.5 tbsp. Sahara.

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the rice and place in a saucepan. Pour in about a glass of boiling water.
  2. After boiling, cover the container with a lid, reduce the gas and cook for 5–10 minutes.
  3. At this time, grate the pumpkin on a large-mesh grater.
  4. When almost all the water has been absorbed, add salt, sugar and grated pumpkin. Stir and pour in cold milk.
  5. When it boils, reduce the gas and cook with occasional stirring for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the porridge brew for the same amount of time. To be sure, wrap the pan with a towel.

Traditionally, round white rice is suitable for this dish. It cooks faster and better. But if you wish, you can experiment with a brown, unrefined product. In this case, the dish will turn out more healthy. In addition, it is worth using a few more secrets:

  1. Before cooking, be sure to rinse the rice several times until the water is no longer cloudy or whitish. This means that starch and gluten have been removed from the grain.
  2. You can prepare milk porridge either with pure milk or with the addition of water. But in the first case, the cereal will take longer to cook, and there is also a risk that the cereal will burn, since the milk boils away faster. When you add water, the rice softens more and cooks faster. Depending on the desired result, you should adhere to the proportions and take 1 part rice: for thick porridge - 2 parts water and the same amount of milk; for medium thickness – 3 parts each of water and milk; for liquid – 4 parts water and the same amount of milk.
  3. To obtain a more delicate and uniform consistency, the finished porridge can be additionally crushed with a blender, rubbed through a strainer or punched with a mixer. This is especially true if the dish is intended for small children.

The porridge must be flavored with a very small piece of good butter. Then the taste will become even more tender and softer.

By the way, to get an interesting taste, you can add vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg powder to the dish, and sugar can be replaced with honey or condensed milk. The porridge turns out to be especially original when adding raisins, dried apricots, fresh or canned fruits and even vegetables.

We will need:

  • milk - 1 l;
  • water - 1.5 l;
  • rice - 400 ml;
  • sugar - 4 tablespoons;

Preparation:

1. Lubricate the multicooker bowl with butter in a circle so that the milk does not “run away”.
